Why I'm So Passionate About Women's Health

So many women are struggling. Maybe you’ve felt it too—bloating that won’t go away, irregular cycles, constant fatigue, skin breakouts, painful periods, or digestive symptoms that feel impossible to solve. And yet, more often than not, women are left to figure it out on their own.
I know this struggle because I’ve lived it.
I’ve sat in doctor’s offices where I’ve been told, “It’s just stress,” or “It’s only indigestion.” I was led to believe that my symptoms were normal—that what I was experiencing “wasn’t that bad.” I was even sent home from the hospital with antacids when in reality, my appendix was about to burst (this is a story I will share in detail another day).
Being dismissed over and over again left me feeling frustrated, unheard, and questioning myself. There were moments where I did wonder, maybe this is all in my head? But, I knew that it wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong, we NEED doctors and other healthcare professionals. They have helped me tremendously in some difficult circumstances and took care of me very well. What I am trying to clearly articulate is the importance of advocating for one’s health, especially as a woman! No one knows your body better than you!
This is why I’m so passionate about women’s health. Too many women are being gaslit, minimized, or brushed off when it comes to their digestion and hormones. And yet, these two areas—gut health and hormone health—form the foundation of how we feel every single day.
When your gut isn’t working properly, your hormones can’t function the way they’re meant to. And when your hormones are imbalanced, your digestion suffers too. It’s a cycle that can leave you exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of what’s really going on.
But here’s what I want you to hear today: you are not broken, and you don’t have to give up on yourself.
Women deserve better support. Women deserve to understand their bodies. Women deserve answers that go deeper than a quick fix.
If you’re in the middle of this struggle, let this be your reminder: don’t stop advocating for yourself. If something feels off in your body, it matters. Your symptoms are not “just in your head.” And you don’t need to accept feeling this way as your new normal.
This blog is where I’ll be sharing my own health journey—the highs, the lows, and the lessons I’ve learned—along with tools and strategies to help you feel empowered with your own health.
As a Holistic Nutritionist (NNCP) and Women’s Hormone Balancing Coach, I help women improve their digestion and balance hormones. This leads to more energy, daily bm’s, better sleep, and much, much more! The greatest investment you can make is in yourself. Your health, mindset and emotions matter. Do it for YOU! Do it for the ones you love!

If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to join me on Instagram and become part of this community so you don’t miss the videos and resources I’ll be sharing in the coming months. You can also join my email list by clicking here. This way you won’t miss when these videos drop.
You are not alone in this, and together we can start rewriting what women’s health really looks like.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on women’s health and advocacy.
